KOTA KINABALU (FRI): The Institute for Development Studies (Sabah) (IDS) and Asian Supply Base Sdn. Bhd. (ASB) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) focused on the establishment of an Integrated Training and Development Center in Sabah, aimed to serve various fields especially the oil and gas industry. The signing ceremony held in IDS Hall, Wisma SEDIA, Kota Kinabalu on Friday, 24th July 2020 was to formalised IDS and ASB’s collaboration following their discussion on 6th July 2020 to establish the Integrated Training and Development Centre.

The signing, which marks the first MoU between both organisations, highlights the critical role of public-private partnership in developing a qualified human capital pool for the state.

The MoU was signed by IDS CEO, Mr. Anthony Kiob, ASB CEO, Datuk Hj. Harris Hj. Annuar Tan, IDS Associate Director, Mr. Richard T. Koh, and ASB Head of Human Resource Mdm. Zulainahwaty Binti Sulaiman. Witnessing the signing ceremony was IDS Chairman, Tan Sri Simon Sipaun and ASB Chairman, YB Datuk Rozman Datuk Hj. Isli.
