Institute for Development Studies (Sabah) hosted an information session on “UK CHEVENING SCHOLARSHIPS” with Ms. Sylvia Vu (Chevening Officer) and Ms. Yasmin Abdullah (Alumni Chevening) on 23rd September 2022 at 4.00pm in IDS Hall, Wisma IDS. The session was Moderated by Mr. Richard T. Koh, Chief Research Officer of IDS.
Chevening is the UK government’s international scholarships programme. Funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and partner organisations, they offer awards to study in the UK for one year on a fully funded master’s degree course. Successful Chevening candidates come from a diverse range of countries and backgrounds, but they all demonstrate the passion, vision and skills needed to shape a better world.
