Today marks the successful commissioning of WAKID (the warehouse of archived knowledge in interconnected documents), our first in-house digital library management system. WAKID hosts an array of development plans spanning from 1986 to the present, encompassing comprehensive grassroots insights sourced from Sabah’s grassroot communities. IDS Sabah takes immense pride in opening this archive to global researchers, extending an invitation to explore its distinctive contents. The exclusivity of this collection reflects three and a half decades of unwavering dedication from IDS Sabah, serving as the intellectual backbone of our state. This wealth of knowledge is now conveniently accessible at your fingertips through our user-friendly web-based application. A comprehensive training programme was recently conducted from August 21 to 24, 2023, at IDS Sabah. The training is our continuous effort to empower technical staff within the Data Management Unit. Researchers from all disciplines are welcomed to engage with us. This digital library is a testament to our commitment to preserving and sharing valuable research documents.
