On 9th June 2023, the Institute for Development Studies (Sabah) (IDS) and Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) signed a research agreement for a project entitled “Tracer Study Development for Ex-offenders Post Prison Life”.
The agreement was signed by Datuk Dr. Ramzah Dambul, CEO of IDS, and Professor Ir. Dr. Rosalam Sarbatly, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research & Innovation) of UMS. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Mr. Richard T. Koh, Chief Research Officer of IDS and Associate Professor Dr. Lai Yew Meng, Dean of the Centre for the Promotion of Knowledge and Language, UMS. This ceremony is a continuation of IDS and UMS existing cooperation and collaboration which was formalise through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), on 10 January 2023.
