A lunch meeting was held between the Institute for Development Studies (Sabah) and the British High Commission Kuala Lumpur (BHC KL) on Wednesday, 12th October 2022 in Kota Kinabalu. The purpose of the meeting was to build connections, and understand insights into strategic opportunities for science and technology in Sabah’s development goals and explore ways for collaboration to achieve those priorities. The delegates from BHCKL were Mr. Andrew Bowes (Counsellor, Global Issues), Ms. Elinor Buxton (South East Asia Regional Director for Science & Innovation), Ms. Poorani Krishnan (Science and Innovation lead) and Mr. Aaron Kual (Health Adviser). While the delegates from IDS were Mr. Richard T. Koh (Chief Research Officer), Mdm. Hjh Hasnah Samsudin (Chief Operation Officer), Ms. Anita Limjoon (Associate Director) and Mr. Ariff Adi Putera (Research Officer).
