The Industrial Revolution 4.0 (Revolusi Industri 4.0 (IR 4.0) Dalam Pembangunan Modal Insan)
The Industrial Revolution 4.0. (IR 4.0.) has attracted the attention of various groups and individuals, especially those engaged in the industrial sector which is reliant on the application of technology and the use of high-speed internet access in tracking these developments. However, there are constraints and concerns, especially for industry players and citizens located in Sarawak and Sabah, especially those situated in rural areas who will be left behind due to gaps in infrastructural development and limited internet access (Medelin Berma, Free Malaysia Today, 2018). In line with achieving IR 4.0 in Sabah, there is a need for institutions/training providers such as TVET and public institutions to revamp and restructure the courses and fields offered in line with these changes in order to meet the needs of the workforce in Sabah.
